Craic Sauce - Mill City Red

A Lowell based community sauce In partnership with the Rist Institute for Sustainability & Energy at UMass Lowell and Mill City Grows. This Mill City Red was made from a seed to sauce partnership with UMass Lowell’s Rist Institute for Sustainability & Energy, and Mill City Grows. The peppers were grown atop the O’Leary Library rooftop and harvested by UML students and the Craic Crew. This classic style, medium heat, hot sauce is hyper-local and has the added zing of fermentation. Our name ‘Craic’ (pronounced krak) is an Irish word for good fun and laughs – a guiding principle that unites sustainability partnerships between the university and community in Lowell.
